Why Oxus

Oxus Investments was founded in September 1998 to provide money management expertise to institutional and private clients on a discretionary basis. We were one of the first few (21st * ) portfolio managers to be granted a PMS license by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in Sept 1998.

We also offer economic and public policy research for our clients (since September 1996) that would like to better understand trends taking place in India and the world. Oxus has one of the largest databases outside of the investment banks and we amass information from numerous sources that enables us to move swiftly and invest with informed conviction with the objective of providing superior returns.

At Oxus, we find it useful to anticipate policy reforms and use these expected policy changes as inputs in making decisions about financial markets. Thus often, the underlying theme of our research is the explicit linkage of politics and economics with markets. Presently, Oxus has one of the largest developed and developing country databases as well as a high-powered team of economists with more than 40 years of experience.
